Abstract
The effectiveness of the political system reflects the ability of the political system to govern a country and achieve maximum satisfaction of the people. In the book Nahjul-Balagha, as the highest charter of the Alawi government, one of the most important indicators of the effectiveness of the Islamic political system is social responsibility. Based on social responsibility, Imam Ali (AS) calls on the religious people to be aware of and respond appropriately to the conditions of society and to avoid silence in the face of abnormalities, and considers public supervision of social and political affairs by officials and people as a divine and human responsibility obligatory on all Muslims.
The present article, within the framework of the theories of "system", "Parsons" and "Putnam", and using the method of qualitative content analysis, seeks to explain the relationship between "social responsibility" and "effectiveness of the Islamic political system" from the perspective of Imam Ali (AS). The findings indicate that from the perspective of Imam Ali (AS), strengthening the social responsibility of the agents of the Islamic government and the people will lead to an increase in the level of social trust, and an increase in the level of social trust will lead to the realization of other indicators of an efficient political system.
